
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised School Administrator to join our dedicated team at a specialist SEN school in North London. This is a key role, providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the school office, acting as the first point of contact for parents, staff, and external visitors.
Handling phone calls, emails, and general correspondence in a professional and efficient manner.
Maintaining accurate records, pupil files, and school databases (SIMS or similar experience desirable).
Supporting the Senior Leadership Team with reports, data entry, and administrative tasks.
Coordinating pupil attendance registers and absence monitoring.
Assisting with HR-related administration, including staff recruitment paperwork and safeguarding checks.
Managing office supplies, invoices, and general financial administration.
Role Details
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a school office environment (SEN school experience highly desirable).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and school MIS systems (e.g., SIMS).
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
Knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR compliance within a school setting.
